Brother, can you spare a dime...?

Sometimes I feel taken advantage of... One of the former doctors here called yesterday and needed something put on a zip disk, yet he had no zip drive.
I asked, why not put it on a CD, and he said.. "How do I do that?"
So..... I said, send me the files, I'll put them on a CD for you, and he sent me the Powerpoint files, and I put them on a CD for him, and left it where he could pick it up.
I get an email this morning.... "My computer can't find the D drive. I don't think my CD drive works. Can I bring it by so you can take a look at it?"

I love doing free support (not).

I support two main buildings in my job. I just love it when I'm in one building, walk through every department to make sure there's nothing that anyone needs doing, then go to the other building to find a msg that something needs to be done at the other building "ASAP". *groan*

I've called a professional about my 3 apple trees in my yard, hoping to actually get some edible fruit this year. We'll see what he can do.

Well, 26 more days till Vacation.. whoo hoo!!!
