Weekend Memories What an absolutely gorgeous weekend, weather-wise it was. Mid 70's, bright sunshine.. light breeze. Perfect. Never did get to see The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, maybe later this week. Saturday, I mowed the lawn, washed my truck (and waxed parts of it), vacuumed it out, gave it a good cleaning of places I don't normally do. Looks like a new truck again. Took a few minutes to check my email, and my bud Dave stopped by to say hi and have a beer. Later, everyone was out but me, so my friend Ray and I went to the local car show, to reminisce about all the cars we wish we still had *L* Sunday, went to visit mom and dad.. Dad's lost 2 more pounds since he's been home and that's got me worried. He's not eating enough I think and he gets aggravated when you tell him to eat. I'm taking a half day off today to take him to the doctors, and I'll see what he says. Oh, I started using a new "Comment" program as the old one kept working then not working.. let me know what you think. Have a great week...... |
