ahhh, long weekends are great! It was a great, long weekend for me.... Saturday, I did a lot of things that needed be done, then at night, my brother and Aaron came over for a cookout of some game meat that I had in my freezer for a while. Dave was supposed to come, but couldn't make it at the last minute. Aaron made a fantastic salad, my brother brought some movies for afterwards.. wife went out with sister-in-law.. it was great. Great meal, great movie, great company. Sunday was the regular, go see mom, read the paper, watch some football stuff, but it was great knowing there was no work Monday. Yesterday, daughter and I went to the mall, and did a lot of window shopping. I bought a few small items for her boyfriend who turns 21 on Saturday. I like shopping with her. In and out. See what there is and go. No dilly-dallying like my wife *chuckling* Well, work calls.. more later if I can! |
