TGIF and Happy Halloween! Thanks to my bud Mike Hertz (good thing his first name isn't Richard, or we'd call him Dick Hertz *L*), who had 3 extra tickets to the UCONN football game tomorrow, me, my brother and a friend are going to see the game on one of the most beautiful days of the fall! Supposed to be around 75 degrees, sunshiny... I can't wait! I haven't seen a college football game since my brother and I used to go see a friend that played for Amherst play against Trinity in Hartford. We're going to get to the game early to do some tailgating, and I'm sure it'll be a load of fun! Hey Bruce, Happy Birthday ya ole fart! (yes, my brother's 50 today!) Yo, Bubba.... you still reading bud? How about you Curt?? Ok, on the news of Halloween, here's the story of a guy that built a 100 foot long pumpkin cannon! This thing shot a pumpkin 4594 feet last year, and are looking to shoot a mile this year! *L* I guess some people have no clue of what to do with their spare time! 
Oh, and I'm going to take a half day off today. I just figured out, this calendar year, I've taken 19 vacation days, and I still have 13 more left to take! Good grief I love this job! *L* Till Monday..... |
