Work, work, work, work...

I worked from home doing some server upgrades last night, did four of them in a little over two hours and all worked well but the "master" server of course, so I dragged myself in at 6am this morning, rolled back the upgrade and tried to figure out what went wrong. Still working on that.

I got a letter in snail mail yesterday, from Jack Daniels Squire Society (of which I'm a member) inviting me to the "15thh Annual Jack Daniels Invitational BBQ Contest" on October 25th. There's a lot of things going on that day, and while I'd love to go... I don't know anyone that'd go with me. Airfare is even real cheap at about $255. This is one thing, I'd really like to see someday.

Work's going to be hell for the rest of the week (I keep telling myself to count my blessings that I have a job, unlike many of my friends from where I used to work). Looks like I'll be working late tomorrow night, as well as early tomorrow morning to maybe try this update again.

The Red Sox won their first post-season series. My daughter's boyfriend (Greg) is a BIG Red Sox fan, and I just love yanking his chain a bit about them. (so, the longer the Red-Sox win, the more I get to yank!) *L*
