Another gorgeous day in paradise....

It's another bright, sunshiny day here, going to be in the low 80's, and very out of place for our summer so far. We've had more rotten weather this summer than any I've ever seen.

Well, everyone slept well last night since we know my dad's going to be ok. I'm going up there today around 10:30 or so to see him, then off to my other office to give a training class at noon (probably 2 miles from his hospital).
The first class, at my main office on Tuesday went very well.

Only today and tomorrow left to work before vacation, and there's so much to do and so little time *frown*. Other than tons of "work" work, I need to help out my bud Ray do something online tonight, then tomorrow Aaron and I are going to a friend of mine's house for a card game. Saturday, I'm going to get a new pair of sneakers for our trip, and between now and Saturday afternoon I wanted to get a haircut. I'm going to need to relax so bad on this vacation, I hope I don't sleep through it! *LOL*
By the way, so you know, our cruise takes us from Miami, a day at sea, Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Grand Caymen, another day at sea and back to Miami.
The days at sea in the beginning and end.. I'm going to use them to relax. Ok, so maybe I will check out the rock-climbing wall, and ice skating rink on board.. *L* This is one HUGE ship. It's over 1000 feet long!

Oh, and ot answer your comment Terri, I'm a morning person though I don't hold any grudge against people that aren't. I'm in work between 6-6:30am. Then again, I get out of work when it's still light out for most of the year and feel like there's still time to do stuff. Personal preference I guess. *S*

Well, on to the news not fit to print:

Here's one of the COOLEST sites I've seen in ages! It's a site with streaming audio of the NorthEast (arrival) sector of Atlanta's Hartsfield Intl. Airport, with video of the radar screen. It's time delayed by 5 minutes, but I hope you find it as cool as I do.

For all us GEEKS out there, this is nirvana. The first Holographic disk that can hold ONE TERABYTE of data! It uses "Collinear Holography", to achieve the massive storage. Check out the article, excellent description and pictures.

Ok, we've heard of all kinds of reasons for parades.. but NC radio station plans "heterosexual pride parade." What could possibly go wrong?
