Dad's out of surgery, and doing well! Sorry the blog was just about non-existant today.... Got up at 4:00am, as he had to be at the hospital at 5:45, and my brother was picking me up at 4:45 *groan*. We stayed with him till he went in for the surgery, the doctor said we may as well go home as it'd be at least 4 and a half hours before he was in a room. Got a call around noon that he was fine, and we could go see him and we did. He looks FANTASTIC! We were all shocked at how alert and.... just plain fine he looked! I'm hoping after a day or so in the hospital, they'll kick him out tomorrow or Friday. Thanks for all the good wishes.... the blog will be back to normal tomorrow. Dave |
