Thursday already???

The week has so far, flown by! I've been so busy, I haven't had time to "stop and smell the roses".
Also, I had probably the WORST day at work ever here yesterday. People can be such idiots sometimes, I'm amazed.
The new facility I have to support, they went out and purchased some new dictation software, and THEN hand it to me and say "Make it work". Well, it can't work in our enviroment, because it uploads the voice to a place in NY, then they "Push" it back to our PC. Well, we don't allow any "push" type of things in our enviroment, and all they can say is "whoops". Instead of working WITH us to find a solution to their problem, they find a solution, then create a problem for US!
THEN... I have someone in another office that's DYING to get Office XP on their PC. Now they say they can't read some emails that come in, because some doctor is trying to be an IT developer and write Visual Basic. Hey, why don't I start seeing patients as a doctor!!! I'll go fix that problem next week. I'm not rushing to fix a problem like that.

The shit gets deeper and deeper. I was do damned pissed off at these idiots yesterday, I almost exploded... but thanks to a nice lunch with some friends, I calmed down a bit. Sure made my blood pressure go up though.

Today's going to be a busy one too... probably will fly by (if I'm lucky). The good news is, every day is one day closer to vacation!

Has anyone seen the comic in the papers named Zits? It's talking reccently about "Fishing for squirrels". Well, there's a complete website devoted to squirrel fishing! (and the site is on Harvard's website! *LOL*

Now here's a dilemna.... A convicted rapist, on day leave from a low security jail, buys a lottery ticket and wins 7 million dollars. I'm torn whether he can/should keep this.

Why can't we have TV like this here?? I'd even watch the news (which I hate)
