Ok.. now that Blogger's finally letting me publish....

Sorry about that yesterday, but Blogger wouldn't let anyone publish! Finally, last night around 7pm it was fixed. (of course, at 6:30am this morning, the comments aren't working *frown*) Read yesterday's first if you haven't, then come back to this post.

More about the cruise:

So, we first get on this HUGE ship (1020 feet long, 132,000 tons), and decide to look around. The "Royal Promenade", is incredible! Shops and pubs line the walkway, a Ben & Jerry's, a free soft-serve ice cream machine.. it's just incredible. On deck 11, there's a Johnny Rockets restaurant! We find the rock-climbing wall, and the ice-skating rink (you heard that right), and the immense theater where the shows happen that must hold around 1500 people. We found the nightclub, namde "The Chamber" with a midieval theme that I'm sure Vadergrrrl would have loved! *chuckle*
Our room was beautiful, even a tiny bit bigger than past cabin's we've had. The dining room is 3 levels high, and our table is on the top level, against a window which is beautiful when you're leaving places during dinner and the view is spectacular. That night, we met our waiter, Kabul from Turkey and his assistant, Elena from Romania. Wonderful people....! That first night, after a sunset that took your breath away, we had a full moon and you just HAD to see it reflect off the water! Breathtaking.

The first day at sea, was wonderful. Light breezes and mid 90's weather made for sunbathing, swimming and spells in the hot tub. (ps, that's only one of 3 pools and 4 of 6 hot tubs. There's even a private pool and 2 hot-tubs for adults in another part of the ship). We tried a trivia contest and came in first with another couple and got some nice photo albums for prizes.

Now, yesterday's picture of me having a drink was in Belize, our first stop. It was a gorgeous, 90 degree day, bright sunshine and light breezes. We walked around for a couple of hours window shopping before finding The Wet Lizard to have that drink.

The next day, we went to Costa Maya, Mexico. We'd never been before, so we just wanted to walk around and explore. Here's what the shoreline village in Costa Maya looks like from the ship, and look at the beautiful water there!

This is just too funny (though tragic). Landlord tells woman to leave her trailer home because of a gas leak. Woman lights cigarette on the way out. Darwinism ensues

Ok. Playboy has done college women, the women of Enron, even the women of Wal-Mart.. but "The Women of McDonalds"????? Have you SEEN the women that work at McDonalds?????

I always thought Nicole Kidman was odd...
