TGIF.. once more

Well, I finally put my wine blog up. Trucker Bob was the first person to visit, as he gave me the incentive to create it.
Please visit The Wine Spot and feel free to leave a comment. The wine blog will probably be updated only once a week or so.

Other than that, tonight, I might be going with my bud Ray to a cruise night. It looks like he's finally got his Cobra sold.. and I hope he gets another nice car. He's talking about possibly buying a Dodge Viper.

Tomorrow we go to my daughter's best friend's wedding! That should be fun.

Sunday, visiting mom and dad as usual in the morning, not sure what later on. The weather's supposed to be great again! We've been REAL lucky this year with beautiful weekends, but we're way under the norm for rainfall.

Congratulations to Coach Jim Calhoun, Mens Basketball coach of the University of Connecticut for tonight being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame!

And with that, on to the news:

Hey Colin, here's something you can be proud of:
Boston ranked the most expensive city in the U.S., overtaking New York after being down three games to none

Now THIS pissed me off...
Navy pilots reprimanded for stopping on their way home to rescue people stranded from hurricane when no other help was present. Now in charge of kennels. His status as "Hero" trumps the Navy's assinine-ness here

Paris Hilton wants to settle down and become a homemaker, just as soon as her fiance coughs up the $2 million engagement ring she wants.

Just for Aaron (who's not here today)
Guide the Flying Spaghetti Monster and convert the people to Pastafarians so they may enjoy a beer volcano and a stripper factory in heaven

My Headline of the WEEK:
Showcase prize package on today's The Price Is Right included a trip to New Orleans and a speedboat Yes, this REALLY HAPPENED this week! (show is taped from December though)

And now, My Friday BOTD!

And one more... just because!

Have a great weekend all...!
