Tuesday Mornings.... At least they're not as bad as Mondays! Well, I feel a tiny bit better today. Actually went home and slept most of the afternoon. I think maybe I got food poisoning on Saturday night. All I know is it's not going away too quickly. The weather's finally supposed to get nicer this week, maybe even up to the high 50's! Go figure. A week ago it was snowing all week. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBA! Hope ya have many, many more too! Hey Kev, so, does going out to the Karaoke bar always make you feel better? I used to go all the time, was pretty good too.. but haven't been in ages now. Now here's an idea I can do without! And this one... is real cute! Truth in Advertising? And now, Dilbert's Theorem on Salary: Dilbert's Theorem on Salary states that Engineers, Teachers, Programmers and Scientists can never earn as much salary as business executives and sales people. This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following three postulates: Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power (Knowledge = Power) Postulate 2: Time is Money (Time = Money) Postulate 3: (as every Physics student knows): Power = Work / Time It therefore follows: Knowledge = Work / Time and since Time = Money, we have: Knowledge = Work / Money Solving for Money, we get: Money = Work / Knowledge Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of Work done. Have a great Tuesday! |
