Tuesdays are marginally better than Mondays.. Well, my internet at home was down most of the day yesterday, I called Comcast and they set me up to have a technician to come out on Wednesday night. Magically, an hour after that, it worked again. (we've been having awful thunderstorms yesterday). Well, last night around 8pm, amidst a LOUD, very close lightning strike, I heard a "sizzle" noise from my cable router. Offline for good it seemed. Tried everything, but it would NOT talk to the cable modem. Soooooooo... I went on down to Staples (copying/technology/business supply store) and bought a new NetGear RP614 Router. Plugged it in, turned it on, ran through the automatic setup and was back online in minutes. Speed is now up to 10.4 Megabit, which is absolutely outstanding. Hey Kev, give us a preview of you being a stripper man! *L* Hey Bruce, how was the Clam Chowder dad gave you (that I gave him)? I'm going to bid tonight, on a Tag Heuer watch that I've always wanted on Ebay. Wish me luck! Kabul golf course reopens.
