TGIF...! The weeks seem to be just FLYING by! Seems only a week or so ago it was the middle of summer, and now, the leaves are changing very quickly and falling ever so slowly to the ground. Nostalgia time.... I'm constantly amazed at just how fast the weeks fly by as I get older. When I was a kid, it seemed like summer was 8 months long. We used to play baseball almost every day at a nearby lot, or behind a school down the street. Yep, there was Carl, Joey, Jon and Tom (brothers), Jeff, Jim, Lonnie, Joel... a bunch of us. And yes, like so many emails you've seen go around, we actually DID go home when the streetlights came on. We had a basketball hoop on our garage and kids used to come over all the time to play... used to be a lot of fun. Our bicycles had bannana seats and sissy bars.. *laughing as I remember*.. we had a corner candy store 3 houses away, and we knew the owner by name (and he us). Ahh... those were the days... No plans yet for the weekend... how about any of you?? And now, the news not fit to print: Ok, I'm going to say this just once... SOME PEOPLE IN TENNESSEE ARE IDIOTS! (not you Bubba) Vadergrrrl, maybe this should be your new cause? *L* George Clooney and Brad Pitt. These guys have WAY too much fun! Newest Hawaiian Wal-Mart built on top of gravesite. Store opened with a traditional blessing and a small blond girl claiming, "They're here" And they say kids today don't have initiative! Coast Guard boards Tiger's honeymoon yacht; discovers Mr. Woods has a WMD of his own Beer Hall of Fame location finally chosen. Reds fans finally have someplace to go in the post season ROAD TRIP! THAT"S RIGHT BABY!! College Basketball is BACK!! Dickey V says so! (Duke still sucks) And now, some offbeat headlines: Man receives new heart hours after getting married.
