Post 652 We made it through another storm... We got about 12 inches of snow at my house yesterday, though snowfalls throughout the state varied greatly. Some places got as little as 2-3 inches, up to our 12 inches of the white, very heavy wet stuff. Well, our #2 UCONN Husky Basketball team got thrashed last night by Marquette. It was an embarassing loss by our team, but they'll bounce back. You just hate to see them lose to anyone. You have to understand, they had a kid on their team (Steve Novak) that just couldn't miss from anywhere on the floor. He had 41 points and could have had a lot more. Oh well... there's a lot more games to go still. Other than that, not much else new. It was mom's birthday yesterday, and we had had a cake for her on Sunday. I tried to call her 4 times yesterday, but she was on the phone each time... so I'll probably catch it today for not calling her *groan*. On to the news: Local businesses pitch in to keep beer and wine store afloat in North Carolina mountain town Disney resort forgets that soccer families and swingers conventions do not mix.
