Post 683 I should have taken the whole week off.... It was SO hard to get up this morning after a nice 4 day weekend. Well, it was a wonderful weekend. Saturday, my friend Ray called and asked if we wanted to go out to dinner with he and his wife for his birthday. We went to a great steakhouse, and had a wonderful time. He left Sunday morningn for vacation in Jamaica. This is the same vacation with all the people like when we went to Costa Rica last February. My wife didn't want to go this year.. oh well. Sunday was a normal "go to see mom" kinda day.. then went to a friends house to watch the Daytona 500. Monday, we took my wife's car to have it's transmission replaced under warranty, then went out clothing shopping where I got a new pair of sneakres, and a pair of Dockers. Yesterday, we went to IKEA for the first time (daughter had been there, but not me or my wife). It was interesting.. and daughter picked up a night table, and the wife and I picked up a few small items. Well, not much more to say, and it's going to be a REAL busy day today in work.. on on to the news: Top 10 strangest MP3 players Today's mind-bendingly addictive flash puzzle game: Blueprint In a *yawn* surprising revelation, Paris Hilton admits there is another sex tape out there. Bonus: Lesbian Twenty things you didn't know about U.S. presidents Ok, now this is getting close to you Mark... Mom arrested for dropping her six-year-old daughter off at school. On a Saturday "Contract of Wifely Expectations." TSG has all the wierdos for you (there are some classics in this document!) Curt, I always knew you Sutherners don't know squat about driving in snow. Here's the proof! *chuckle* Proving the theory that Southerners don't know how to drive in snow, 100 accidents reported after Virginia receives less than an inch And my headline of the day: Nurse who slapped colleague's face with frozen trout is fired. Ask why she did it, replies "for the halibut" Have a great Hump-Day! |
